There are a number of forms available from the HMRC website that you may need from time to time, but they are included below for convenience:

• P46 (Short) – to gather information from new employees who don't have a form P45
• CA6855 – Use this form to trace an employee's National Insurance number
• SC2 – Used by an employee to claim SSP pay from their employer
• SSP1 – Form to be given to an employee claiming SSP, but are not entitled to claim this from the employer
• SMP1 – Form to advise an employee as to why they can't claim SMP from their employer
• SC3 – Used by the employee to claim Statutory Paternity Pay/Leave
• P87 – Used by employees to claim tax relief for expenses of employment
